User Interface Design |

|
The interface of an application plays an extremely important role in the effectiveness of how users perform tasks. Sighted users interact with elements that make up the graphical interface, such as icons, menus, links, buttons, etc. in a dynamic fashion, but visually impaired users utilize assistive technologies (speaking browsers) to access content in a linear movement.
A carefully designed interface allows the user to take in and control the flow of information, allowing the individual to focus on what is important and filter out that which is not. How an interface is designed determines the type of experience the user will have, positive or negative. The Spin Group, Inc. applies its creative skills to design an attractive layout, while staying true to the needs of the end-user. Gathering prior information about the end-user is a must and is always practiced when developing a new interface or improving an existing one. Usability plays an important role in Spin Group's efforts to design an effective graphical user interface. The result then plays an important role in producing an effective application.
