Wisconsin Maritime Museum approached Spin Group with the need of a complete website redesign. With the previous design being ten years old, it was time to update the user experience with fresh colors, images and copy.
A goal for the final website was to create a design that was logical and comprehensive while being engaging to the user. Spin Group guided this process by reviewing the old website and discussing the needs of the new website. We worked directly with Wisconsin Maritime Museum’s senior staff to understand the needs of the site map and navigation before moving forward with the design process. This helped when deciding what information to transfer from the museum’s old website to the new layout.
The final design we developed serves the museum’s needs, focusing on the museum’s rich history, educational programs and interactive exhibits. The finished site will continue to serve museum and it’s visitors for years to come.
